Three handpieces, one console, and a vacuum pump that changes what the radio frequency can actually reach. The VL3 is a body contouring unit where the vacuum is not an accessory — it is the reason the energy lands where it is aimed.

Why Vacuum Comes First

Skin reflects energy. Put a flat RF plate on the abdomen and most of the field stays near the surface, because the tissue underneath is dense and the contact is partial. The VL3 solves that before the RF fires: the head draws a fold of skin up into the chamber, and the specially designed rollers work that fold as the electrodes deliver. The result is RF penetration held at an even 5 to 15 mm, rather than a gradient that fades with depth.

There is a second mechanism under it. An infrared laser heats the skin ahead of the RF, which lowers skin impedance — the tissue resists the current less, so the same energy setting travels further. Heat first, then energy: the two steps are why this head produces a contouring change rather than a surface flush.

The Three Handles

40K ultrasound cavitation. The large silver head. Pressure waves work on deep fat, and the cavitation effect is what breaks the fat cell membrane so the body can clear what is released. This is the handle for the abdomen, flanks and thighs.

8-polar vacuum RF. Eight electrodes inside a vacuum chamber with rollers. This is the body-slimming head: it nips and stretches the fibrillar connective tissue as it passes, which is what addresses the dimpled surface rather than just the volume under it.

No.1 vacuum RF. The smallest of the three, and the one that allows the upper eyelid. Because the vacuum folds the skin into the head, the energy goes into the fold instead of spreading across the surface — which is how a treatment area this thin can be worked with RF at all.

Pulse, Not Continuous

Working mode is pulse, with width adjustable from 0.5 to 7.5 seconds. A pulsed delivery lets the tissue cool between cycles instead of stacking heat continuously, which matters on a head that is already holding a vacuum seal in one place.

Screens

A 10.4-inch display on the console, and a 2.4-inch readout on the handpiece itself. The second screen matters more than it sounds: the operator can read the setting while working rather than stepping back to the console with the head still on the client.

Circumference change depends on the protocol, the number of sessions and what the client does between them. Vacuum roller work is cumulative — a single pass produces a temporary result, the programme is what holds it.
